Spring Break! :D
Yay! Spring break is here. Finally I can relax a bit and forget about books. I guess its time for me to write the “Healing Hands” page…. Alice have been nagging me about the review page.. I guess she wants to return to memory lane… 
1 Midterm down; 2 More to go…
Finished my 1st midterm last night. yay! Not a very good grade 
I’ll do better in Final I got 2 more midterm for tomorrow and Thursday…. should be better this time….
Healing Hands I (妙手仁心 I)
My friend(s) – you know who you are – told me like 100 times, “You need to watch this TVB drama if you like ER”. I was like, what is has to do with ER? Then I decided to give it a go. Mind you it is very tough for me to watch TVB drama because first and foremost, I don’t understand Cantonese. So, I finally find the Mandarin version and rent it. I told myself, serial with Lawrence Ng and Bowie Lam should not be that boring. 2 episodes in, I called my friend and she said, “I told you so!” I am totally into the series and I finished the entire serial (22 episodes) in a week!
Healing Hands I is Hongkong version of ER and first broadcast in 1999 ( I know I am a bit late but oh well). It is not as tense and blood everywhere scenes as ER, but it is a medical drama that surround not only the patients but also the life of the doctors. Starring HK famous male leads Lawrence Ng Kai Wah, Bowie Lam Boo Yee, William So Yong Hwing, etc. Female leads are Ada Choi, Flora Chan, etc…
Lawrence Ng gave me a totally new impression. I can totally see the different between this one and his previous works and his chemistry with Ada Choi is wonderful. I am not surprised when my friend told me that they won favorite on- screen couple with this drama and its sequel back in 1999.
So, I guess a detail review page should be up soon about this drama …. hopefully
